10 Summer Teaching Clothes on a Budget!

Sharing is caring!

summer teach clothes

Summer weather is fast approaching which means time to get some summer teaching clothes! I love the sun, the warmth, and the longer days for sure. Here’s a blog post about my favorite teacher shoes. I thought let’s talk about teaching clothes from Amazon.

Coincidentally, I know many of you teach summer school, ESY (extended school year), or work at a camp. I decided to put together a little list of summer teaching clothes. For the rest of you that may not be teaching there are still super cute outfits in here! I personally would wear all of this out too!

Dresses I am Loving!

  1. Sleeveless Casual Summer Tshirt Dress with Pockets Sundresses for Women

First, this dress is a MUST!  I love the details of the buttons down the front and the pockets. I’m sure you’ve heard me say before, pockets are a must-have for me. I love having a place to put dry erase markers, visuals, etc.  Plus, this dress comes in lots of colors, so you can choose the color you love! If you are into layering I would totally add a light weight cardigan or a jean jacket too.

2. Short Sleeve V-neck T-Shirt Dress

In particular, this dress has a very similar feel to the above dress, except this one has short sleeves. I know some schools have rules about shoulders being covered. This dress definitely fits those dress code requirements.

3. Women’s Summer Casual T Shirt Dresses Short Sleeve Swing Dress Pockets

Here’s a great T-shirt dress that has pockets! This dress also has raving reviews from Amazon customers. Plus it comes in many colors, so pick what you like and pair it with flats or cute sandals!

4. MISFAY Women Short Sleeve Loose Plain Maxi Dresses Casual Long Dresses Pockets

Look no further, if you’re looking for a maxi-dress, I love these ones! They have pockets and they have short sleeves. Perfect for teachers who have more strict dress codes. In other words, these are great for teachers who want to make sure they are covered when crouching down to help students.

5. Women’s Striped Sleeveless Waist Belted Zipper Back Wide Leg Loose Jumpsuit Romper with Pockets

Additionally, if you’re looking for a jumpsuit, this one is super cute. It’s a great mix of professional and fun! I like this one because of course it has pockets and it’s great to dress up and down to make it work for the environment you are working in!

Cute Tops for School and More!

6. Womens Floral Tie Front Chiffon Blouses V Neck Batwing Short Sleeve Summer Top

I absolutely love this short sleeve V-neck tie front shirt. The tie front shirts are so popular right now, and I totally understand why. They are so flattering! This shirt is short sleeved and comes in six different colors. It could get paired with shorts, jeans or a skirt.

7. Women’s Summer Peplum Tops Short Sleeve High Low Hem Ruffle T-Shirts Casual Loose Plain Tunic Tops

Similarly to the previous this blouse is lightweight, so it wouldn’t be too warm in the summer. It could be paired with capris, pants or shorts. Most importantly, there are lots of color options and I love that this adds a little bit of shape with the ruffle at the bottom!

All the Bottoms!

8. SoTeer Women’s Casual Elastic Waist Bowknot Summer Shorts with Pockets Summer Culotte Shorts

For example, these shorts are super cute and trendy and I love them! Not only can you dress these up to wear on a date night, but you can pair them with a simple t-shirt to wear to ESY while you are teaching and still be cool during recess duty!

9. LEE Women’s Flex Motion Regular Fit 5 Pocket Capri Jean

Something I can never go without in summer is a cute pair of capris. Additionally, I like jean capris because they can be done as dressed up or down depending on what you need. I love the wash color on these and the rolled hem!

10. GRACE KARIN Women’s Cropped Paper Bag Waist Pants with Pockets

Thirdly, these paper bag waist pants have a similar feel to the shorts above. However, these are long pants, instead of shorts. I know some schools have rules about length of shorts. It’s hard to find longer shorts nowadays! So sometimes pants are the way to go!

In Conclusion…

Finally, just like with any online shopping, make sure to read reviews to see what size to order. In short, I hope this gives you a good starting point for your summer teaching clothes.
