Description

Need a March task your students can do on their own while you run a group? These March Photo Matching Task Cards use real photos with a spring theme so students practice matching pictures that look like the real thing.

What’s Included in the March Photo Matching Task Cards

  • March themed picture matching task cards with real photos
  • Pages ready to print, laminate, and cut

Ways to Use the March Photo Matching Task Cards

  • Independent work tasks and task boxes
  • Centers and early finisher work
  • 1:1 instruction and IEP progress monitoring for matching goals
  • Small group warm-ups

How the Photo Matching Task Cards Work

Students look at the photo on the card and find the one that matches. They can clip a clothespin on the answer or circle it with a dry erase marker. The clothespin adds fine motor practice, which is a nice bonus for students who need it.

Once a student can do these without help, they’re a great fit for an independent work station. I liked having a seasonal set ready so the routine stayed the same and only the pictures changed.

Why Teachers Love These Task Cards

  • ✔ Real photos: students match images that look like real objects.
  • ✔ Builds independence: a simple task students can finish on their own.
  • ✔ Easy data: quick to check and record for matching goals.
  • ✔ Low prep and reusable: laminate once and use them every March.
