Description

Division gets easier with steady practice that moves from simple to harder facts. These division math fact worksheets bring all three of my division sets together, so you have 240 no-prep pages that take students from their first division facts all the way to mixed review.

What’s Included in the Division Math Fact Worksheets

  • Division 0-6 Worksheets: 80 pages to start with the facts that match the multiplication facts students know best.
  • Division 7-12 Worksheets: 80 pages focused on the harder facts, with plenty of repetition.
  • Division 0-12 Worksheets: 80 pages of mixed review once students are ready to put it all together.
  • Four formats in every set: Draw a line to match, cut and paste, multiple choice and fill in the blank, so students can show what they know in the way that works for them.

How to Use the Division Math Fact Worksheets

Start with the 0-6 set, move to 7-12, and use the 0-12 set as review or a quick check. Within each set, I begin with matching or multiple choice, then cut and paste, and save fill in the blank for when a student can work on their own. The layout never changes, so students can focus on the math and not on new directions.

Repetition is the point with math facts. Same format, new problems, every day, and you’ll see the speed come.

Ways to Use the Division Math Fact Worksheets in Your Classroom

  • Independent work: Add a page to independent work stations or morning work.
  • Small group: Give each student the range and format that fits.
  • 1:1: Work through a page together and note which facts need more practice.
  • Progress monitoring: Use fill in the blank pages to track growth on math IEP goals.
  • Home: Send pages home for practice that matches school.

Teaching Division Step by Step With Division Math Fact Worksheets

The order matters with division. When students start with facts that match the multiplication they already know, division feels like a puzzle they can solve. I always connect the two out loud. If 4 times 5 is 20, then 20 divided by 4 is 5. Counters for making equal groups help early on, and a multiplication chart can stay nearby until students don’t need it. Who the Division Math Fact Worksheets Are For

This bundle is a fit for 3rd through 6th grade and for older students who still need fact practice, especially in self-contained and special education classrooms. Special education teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers can all use it with little prep. If you want extra free practice ideas for families, Khan Academy’s free arithmetic lessons are a helpful reference.
