I’ll never forget one of my first students who took six months to learn how to independently hang up his backpack and put his folder in the bin each morning. Every day, we practiced. We prompted. We waited. We celebrated every tiny step.⁠
⁠
Some mornings felt like déjà vu. Others felt like setbacks. But one day—just an ordinary Tuesday—he walked in, hung up his backpack, and put that folder in the bin like it was nothing. I cried. 😭⁠

In special education, progress often looks different. It’s slower. It’s quieter. And sometimes it feels invisible. But it’s happening—and your consistency, your belief, your patience… they matter more than you know.⁠
