Life Skills Reading Comprehension Passages and Questions Functional Skills

Description

These no-prep passages work on answering WH questions for students who struggle with reading comprehension. This has 20 passages themed around life skills and functional skills done at home.

This set includes 3 different levels, you can differentiate your worksheets and give them to students to meet individual needs. You can work on following directions, answering -wh questions, and going back and finding the evidence all on the same worksheet.

Additionally, these sets are all focused on life skills topics. Use these to introduce the concept before practicing it in a hands-on environment. Use it to go over the steps involved in completing the life skill.

● All passages are between a 210L – 400L Lexile Range (First Grade)

3 Levels of Questions:

Each set uses the same passage, but the question format differs.

● Level 1 – Students answer questions by circling the symbols and text answers.

● Level 2 – Students answer questions by circling the text answer.

● Level 3 – Students answer questions by writing the answer on the line.
